ARTIST, SURFACE DESIGNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR IN SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
I create joyful, whimsical, and colorful art for the children's and baby market — cheerful, character-driven collections that bring color and whimsy to everyday life. My signature style balances playful storytelling with versatile, market-ready designs, and every collection is thoughtfully developed to span coordinating fabric, gift wrap, wallpaper, stationery, home decor, wall art, and more.
Every pattern begins with a simple hope: that it will make someone smile and remember they are beautifully and wonderfully made.
My path here wasn't a straight line. After more than twenty years as an IT project manager, I made the bold and joyful leap to pursue art full time — trading spreadsheets for sketchbooks and never looking back. That background means I bring both creativity and a deep sense of organization, reliability, and follow-through to every collaboration.
And I'm never working alone. Mochi and Bella — my two Miki dogs and the heart and inspiration behind the brand — work right alongside me in our Sacramento home studio. When I'm not designing, you'll find me drawing inspiration from everyday life, travels near and far, and happy memories.
